diapering systems. The Red Hen also offers a dynamic selection of locally produced gift items for expecting moms, new
moms, infants and children. Visiting friends and family will be glad to
hear of our “Buy Back” program if they need
a high chair or stroller short-term. To enhance your shopping experience we
have indoor and outdoor play areas for children, gift wrapping, a stocked
diaper changing station, and a large dressing room for moms-to-be complete
with a "try-on belly." Our wish list program checks every buy we
make for the items you are looking for. New items arrive daily! We are also
glad to offer our own version of a “Baby Registry”
as well as gift certificates in any denomination. Features coming soon
include a drink station for parents and healthy snacks for purchase.

We love our space in a beautiful turn-of-the-century building located in the heart of downtown Carrboro on Weaver St. We share a driveway with the French restaurant Provence (parking available in the rear). We are on the south side of the street between Weaver Street Market and the Carrboro Town Commons (Farmer’s Market).
