What is your Return Policy?
Returns or Exchanges are allowed within 7 days of purchase for Store Credit ONLY. Receipt and tags must be presented.

What is the difference between "buy outright" and "consignment"?
Traditional consignment means you are paid a percentage of the selling price AFTER an item has sold. The Red Hen pays you for your items right away. You know what you are getting upfront and we accept the risk of whether or not the item will sell.

How do you determine how much you will pay for my items (or sell my items for)?
The Red Hen uses a buying matrix (built into our computer software) that considers brand name, item type, and condition to suggest a retail price and a buying price. Our prices reflect current market value and are typically 50% or less of the original retail price. We strive to maintain a balance between great prices for customers and appealing prices for vendors. While you could potentially earn more selling things on your own, the convenience and ease of selling to The Red Hen is unparalleled (see Selling to Us).

What happens to the items you do not accept?
You may choose to donate items we are not able to accept to Welcome Baby and we can issue a donation receipt for tax purposes. If you would like to pick up your unaccepted items (including bins), we are glad to hold them for ONE WEEK after we make contact with you. Storage space is very limited and they will be donated on the 8th day.
